Vamos a la taquería and Vamos a la panadería playsets

$8.00

Vamos a la taquería and Vamos a la panadería playsets were created with a lot of love for my adopted home city of El Paso, Texas.

We certainly love food here, so why not use food play to practice Spanish while having fun?

In Vamos a la taquería unit study you will:

  • Learn more about tacos

  • Print your own bakery menu and taco playset

  • Practice fine motor/cutting skills

  • Learn the terms for open/closed and print your own front door sign for your bakery

  • Play a game or use taco order cards to build your own tacos while practicing Spanish

  • Trace taco order items in your traceable menu

  • Hang a papel picado banner for your taquería

Mexican bakeries have a rich and very unique tradition. In Vamos a la panadería unit study you will:

  • Learn the history of Mexican pastries

  • Watch a video to visit a bakery in San Antonio, Texas

  • Print your own bakery menu and paper baked goods

  • Learn the terms for open/closed and print your own front door sign for your bakery

  • Play math games and add up receipts using your menu

  • Enjoy an original game ‘Llena la bandeja’ (Fill the tray)

  • Hang a papel picado banner for your panadería

We wanted this resource to be exciting, fun, and a new way to practice some Spanish vocabulary words!

When you purchase this product you will receive a one page PDF with all necessary files linked. Please download IMMEDIATELY and email hello@mytexashomeschool.com within 30 days with purchase information if you need a replacement download.
